Terms of Use

Cheonmari / Last updated: 5 September 2026

What Cheonmari is

Cheonmari is a paid app for writing a wish, folding it into a paper crane, and filling a jar with one thousand of them. It is a personal ritual app. It makes no promise that any wish will come true.

Your content

The wishes you write are yours. They stay on your device, and we never receive them. You are responsible for what you write.

Your data is your responsibility

Because the app stores everything on your device, deleting the app, resetting the device, or clearing its data removes your jars. iCloud sync reduces this risk but does not guarantee recovery. We cannot restore lost data because we never had a copy.

Disclaimer

The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of the app, including loss of stored content.

Payment and refunds

Cheonmari is a one-time purchase through the App Store. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no advertising. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. See our Refund Policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The updated date above changes with them. Continuing to use the app means accepting the current terms.

If Cheonmari is discontinued

We may stop selling or updating Cheonmari, or remove it from the App Store, at any time. Because your wishes and cranes are stored only on your device and in your own iCloud, a copy you have already installed keeps working without us. We do not run a server that the app depends on, so nothing switches off remotely. If we discontinue the app we will say so on this website. Refunds for a discontinued app follow Apple's App Store policy, as described above.

Where the app is sold

Cheonmari is not offered in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland at this time.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement are subject to the courts of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
